Vineta Rutkovskis
Experimentation is the inspiration for me. Born and raised in the Bay Area, I grew up with an intense passion for creativity and have constantly searched for ways to express it.
I have flourished in the culinary arts both professionally and at home -- my two beautiful little girls are treated to some quite elaborate birthday cakes.
I studied art at UC Davis but found the traditional school system to be too restrictive, so am primarily self taught.
I love to repurpose objects and find new uses for things that would normally be thrown away.
Drawing and painting were revisited after my children were born and inspired me to express myself through color, lines, and shapes.
